Hey Y'all, The Alan Wright Band won the International Blues Challenge, held at Cozy's on Saturday. The Band will now go to Memphis in February to compete there. Hope Y'all can pack your bags and go with us. Thanks to Lynn Parker and all of the Santa Clarita blues society members for thier hard work putting this whole thing together year after year as well as the judges who take thier time to get involved. It's a lot of hard work and much appreciated. A special thanks to: Jay Spell, Jeff Ackerman, and Peter Miller. I am very Blessed to be working with players of this caliber, and on top of that they are some of the most wonderful, incredibly supportive people on the planet. It is my pleasure to say that I work with them. Also, a very special thanks to my children Jessica, Max and Holland for thier encourgement and support. Any one who knows me, knows that these children, ARE MY LIFE. Thanks also to: The Parrot Heads who are always in every way wonderfully supportive. And to my brother Chris Wright who has been like a life support system in every way. Thank you to the Nedra Ware party who came to support, Y'all are the greatest. If you haven't been out to see my Solo Show, Please check it out. I play Guitar, Harmonica and Sing. I play bass pedals with my feet and that also triggers the Drums. It's like having a full band but with only one person. I started this project about a year ago, and it has been very sucessful and lots of fun. I play a variety of soulful music from the Alan Wright Band as well as Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray, Boz Scaggs, Bill Withers, CCR, Sly and the Family Stone, ZZ top, Al Green, BB King and many others.
I do all types of shows from Club Show's, Concerts, Festivals to Weddings, Corporate functions and I also do Private Parties, so Book me for your Christmas or New Years Party NOW.

I'm currently doing some studio work with the one and only Jay Spell, I am doing all of the electric and acoustic guitars on a new full album project for Judy Collins, Mike Farver and 120inc. Records in the Beach, shag and swing music market. I'm honered to have been asked to do the guitar work on this record.
I'm having a great time working on this project and I'm very proud of the work that all of us are doing on it. Judy and Mike have chosen some really good song for this project, including a couple of covers. Keep a watch for the release of this record, I will post it on this web site and let you know how you can order it.
Hey Judy and Mike, keep up the great work over there in Myrtle Beach,
South Carolina. We are looking forward to yet another great release from the Pro's over on the East Coast. We are still waiting on the ok to do the final tracks for this project. I will keep you posted.
On Thursday October 13, 2005 We Started recording basic tracks for the all new Jay Spell Project. Watch out now, This stuff Roc's. I can't wait to go back to the studio to work on this project. I'll keep you posted on it's progress.
And yes, I am still working on some music for the next Alan Wright Band Cd.
It's still gonna be awhile on this one but we'll make it worth the wait. I'll do my best to keep you informed.
